About Grant

As an education consultant I have an absolute passion for curriculum design, inquiry learning and advocating for student agency.  With experience both in Australia and internationally in private and state primary schools I love to make learning and thinking engaging. Designing curriculum to meet the needs of learners is fundamental to what I do. Through asking questions and exploring the 'why' we do things, I work with schools to develop robust curriculum structures and learning experiences for all learners. Designing units of learning that focus on faith and life integration is a specialty of mine.  

Our role as educators is to ensure that we allow children the opportunity to flourish and create their own futures, ones we cannot yet imagine.

Experience

Having been an educational leader for almost 20 years in Catholic Education, I have a wide variety of experiences that equip me to 'play' with curriculum. Having worked in both Parish Primary schools and IB PYP schools, I have a unique take on learning and our role as educators within it. No two days are the same in the classroom or a school, having continuously worked in them keeps me thinking, learning and growing.

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Teaching from Australian Catholic University. My passion for learning led me to complete a Master of Educational Leadership focussing on The Thinking Curriculum. Currently I am part way through completing a Master of Theology at the University of Divinity. I love discovering new things and constantly seek to learn in both formal and informal settings.

Further information

Born and raised in Melbourne, I should love a latté and the footy, but I'll take a soy chai and soccer any day! When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy running and Taekwondo. Having recently qualified as a 2nd Dan black belt, I love the balance this gives my life. My favourite thing in life is to spend time with my wife and three beautiful children.
